Professor Charles Cuny is an expert in corporate capital
structure, security market microstructure and derivative markets. He has
published research on the role of growth on corporate capital structure, the
impact of market volatility on the stock index-futures basis, the effect of
portfolio manager compensation on turn-of-the-year stock prices, the design of
futures contracts, and the valuation of employee stock options.
Professor Cuny's research has appeared in top journals, including the Review of
Financial Studies, the Journal of
Finance, and the Journal
of Accounting and Economics.
He received his B.S. and M.S. from the California Institute of Technology, and his
Ph.D. from the Graduate School of
Business, Stanford University.
